DIRECTOR
David Friswell is an up-and-coming director in the Adelaide film scene who prioritises a clear creative vision spurred on by stories that speak to profound experiences while grounded in real emotion. Having cut their teeth on low budget horror with the short film Dragged Back, they moved forward quickly into directing the IAF-funded short ‘I Am A DVD Player’ and Mercury Quicksilver-funded short ‘Paddy Hates the Holidays’. Drawing from a wide range of cinematic movements and inspirations, they are keen to further explore their avenues for creativity in new projects that allow them to further develop and tailor their craft.
